Hello there !

New to this forum allow me to introduce myself : I'm French living in France, I've been driving Lexus since 1995 (LS400, LS430, IS200, GS300 and GS450h since last week)

My new GS is a 2008 model (with a President pack according to local French definition). I use windows phones (Lumia series) and I can easily connect these phones for conversations while driving over BT. But when I try to transfer my contact data to the car, the BT connection fails and when I stop this transfer, the BT connection comes alive again ....

I only have/use windowsphone (windows 10 and windows 8.1)... any hint where I could look to to solve this problem ?

another question related to this : can I stream audio from my phone to the Mark Levinson system via BT ? apparently it does not work with my windows phones ..

the car used an older version of BT, so it might not compatitible ,

when i purchased my car CPO 2007 from Lexus dealer the dealer asked me what phone i got, i told them iPhone 4s and they were like they need to copy my iPhone contact to their "dealer use blackberry", then the blackberry will connect to the car and transfer contact there, after that they erased the phone for security reason and then i connect back to my iPhone.

Many thanx Brabusx2. You are right it's a compatibility issue.

There is a special "BT compatibility" section on the French Lexus website where one can check compatibility (phone/lex model/nav system)

The solution as you mentioned is to use an intermediate but compatible phone ...
