Default Question about light bulbs and interior lights

Hi All,

I recently had to replace my HID bulbs for headlights but now it seems one of the bulbts on the DRL piece is out, referring to the light that works as the high beam light. I'm confused because it appears that there are two different bulbs inside of this unit. I'm not sure which is the high beam and the parking light - can someone help me figure this out? I'm trying to replace all the DR, parking, and fog bulbs to go with the new headlight bulbs. I would also appreciate if anyone knows the model/part number of the needed bulbs.

Also just thought, is there any guide to figuring out all the interior lights. I had my GS now for a month so would like to make sure all the interior lighting is working, one of my fav features of the car is how intuitively it's lit. My last car was the '03 GS430 and it def didn't have all this stuff

Check out the diy section most all of what ur looking for is in there. On my 08 the high beam/drl is the bigger twist in on the back of the housing. The park lite is mounted on and accessible from a long stem that is part of the harness up under top of radiator header. Again check out the diy section good info in there.

Hey I actually found the model number for the bulbs I need for the main headlights for the car but nothing like a diagram or anything for the interior lighting (such as visor light, etc)

There are two bulbs in the inner headlight. The one in the lateral upper corner is your parking light. This turns on when you turn on your parking lights and your low beams. The one in the middle is your DRL/high beam. It is 9005.

Thanks Mesca, still trying to find a diagram for interior lighting. I wish the Sewell site was still around it was easy to identify parts.

If it's an 06 or newer almost all interior lights are LED's. I think the only actual bulb is for the vanity mirror

Would you know a way I can identify where all the lights are so I can see which bulbs or LED's need to be changed? I can't tell what works or not.
