Default 2006 GS300 buring oil - 145k miles on it

some one told me that if I clean or replace PCV valve will help it. if so can someone tell me where is it located.

car details:

2006 GS300 AWD

please help, I have to put in about 2-3 qrts in between oil change (5k). whatever the recall was for carbon build up was performed my previous owner. I have the car for now 3 years. thanks

Have you checked online at mylexus.com to verify that the previous owner did they carbon buildup repair?

If so I would go back to the same dealership and tell them that the work they preformed did not fully resolve the problem. Most likely they will deny it, but you can call customer support to see what they can offer for you.

i just checked it and i don't see carbon buildup was performed, and now i moved to virginia, any advice what i should do?

Sorry, there is nothing you can do now. The (long) period of time that the 2006 model was eligible for the major piston ring replacement work has long passed and it's a very expensive job to do out of warranty.

I'm afraid you should have done your homework before buying the car.

doesn't recall will get done regardless of miles? if it's never done then why wouldn't they do now? I will check on it with local delar and see

Had to be within 9 years from the car's in-service date. Hate to say it, but you're SOL.
