Where are the stock 18" wheels? I think those look better and would attract more buyers. You are better off selling the 20's separate. The GS460 is ultra rare and there will be a specific buyers out there for it so be patient.

Yep, I agree w/ the comment above. The stock wheels would look much better especially for a prospective buyer. looks clean with super low miles.

Agreed with the other two. The stock wheels look much, much better, and will attract many other buyers. I turned down a white GS460 because it had aftermarket wheels on it, and they weren't bad looking, just not stock.

Very few cars stay flat or gain value, and just because a car is rare doesn't mean that it is valuable. Yours being a 2008 is actually an argument against its rarity, as it is the most common year (by a factor of 30) that they were made:

2009 = 56 Units
2010 = 43 Units
2011 = ?
Real-world comparisons to your car: AutoTrader shows 5 GS460's in the US with under 60K miles. The 4600 mile one is an outlier at $34K, the 18K and 41K ones are both at $24K so you can't expect more than that for yours. Obviously if I'm boarding a plane to buy a car, I'm going with the 18K mile one at $22-23K rather than yours at $20K. And that's if I'm not so picky as to wait for a '10+ to lose the tape deck, which I was.

For us mere mortals, there are very few modern cars that stay flat or gain value. Two notable ones that I'm very familiar with are the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the Honda S2000. The ones that do gain value are limited production runs by Ferrari, Porsche, McLaren, Bugatti. It's not a V8 Lexus with disproportionately high insurance costs.

When I first got the '11 GS460, I took it to Cars&Coffee. Except for my friends who knew what I was getting and why, nobody noticed it. As far as production count, it was far more rare than 99% of the cars there, but nobody cared. Except for one retired lady who liked how comfortable the driver seat was.

There's a VW Phaeton cult on Jalopnik that may one day transition to the GS460, except for the fact that we don't have a W12 engine and those guys love the ritual sadism of owning unreliable German cars.

So, don't expect good resale. Own it forever and drive it, as one of the best and most under-appreciated V8 sport sedans ever made, or sell it and get something else. Either way, good luck.
