Default Good bye 3rd Gen

During lunch today, I told my coworker the day has come and my car will hit 100k miles today without any major issues. 5 hours later, I was t boned by a suv as my car hit 99,997 miles. My car then hit a leaf. Luckily no one was hurt. Never wanted to part from this car but this gives me a good reason to buy a GSF.

To top it all off, this happened 8 days before my wedding.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune but at least you have your soon to be wife to take your mind off of the car temporarily. Did the airbags deploy? I can't really tell.

I'm betting the SUV driver had a Starbucks in one hand, the phone in the other, and they were driving with their knees.

No airbags went off but the car is pretty messed up. Wonder if it's totalled.

Based on what I can see in the picture, I don't think so. It may be close though.

I was trying to be fair. I have no idea who was driving, so no point in making assumptions as to the driver's gender.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about that man... in the end though, what's most important is your health and luckily you weren't injured (especially before the big day!).

Not to make light of the situation but reading the post before looking at the picture, I was trying to put two and two together about why it mattered that after you got hit, you hit a leaf. I thought, yeah? so? it's fall. I hit leaves all the time.

I am betting it will be right on the border of being totaled.

Glad nobody was hurt here. I keep telling my gf I will buy a C6 Z06 or Viper GTS if I ever lost my GS. Pretty sure she's saying prayers every night that I keep it forever Upgrade time! Sucks to see another loss in the 3GS family, but you're alright, and the GSF looks pretty sweet. Best of luck!
