Default Advice needed on paint chip (with pics)

Hey guys. 2006 GS 430, with 110,000 miles. The car is in excellent condition, and I have 3M front end protection over the hood, front bumper, fenders, mirrors, pillars and roofline.

I must've taken a stone over the weekend. It hit my front right fender, right on the edge above the right headlight. It peeled back part of the 3M cover, and chipped the paint. I already put some touch up paint on it so it doesn't rust. I really don't know what to do with this. The problem is that the paint chipped and the 3M protection began to peel away from the spot of the chip. You'll see what I mean when you look at the pictures. Any thoughts?

1st thing i would do is put clear tape over it, get the chip fixed properly then take it to a wrap place to get it wrapped again. Since its only the front corner of the fender it shouldn't cost that much or you could try doing it yourself

Why clear tape? Just curious. I already put touch up paint on it.

I had the clear bra installed at the Lexus dealer when I bought the car. They'll need to remove the piece that covers the fender. I'm afraid it will take some of the paint with it, but I assume the will heat it up to loosen the adhesive.

Once they get the wrap off, how will they fix the chip? With touch up paint or will they have to repaint the entire fender? And if they have to repaint the entire fender, i assume they won't be able to put the wrap back on right away?

clear tape just so it won't stand out as much keeps it protested until you get the work done.
If the wrap hasn't been on long or been sitting in the sun for long periods, it should come up in one piece easily, if you never had any repairs done the factory paint will not come off with it.
After the wrap is off it depends on how much you want to spend you can do the cheap fix which is touch up or the recommended fix which involves sanding the chip down and the area around it then repainting the whole fender or they may blend it half way.
Yes you may have to wait a few days to put the wrap back on
