GS300 AWD 2006 Won't start, go into gear, flickering dash
OK... So there are several posts on this subject, which I have now read! I have tried reseting the ECU via fuse pull. I have confirmed brake lights work (as do all of the lights). Car has just 66K and simply will not start at all. Battery terminals clean and connected.
ECU?
ECU Capcitor leakage?
This thing is a blast to drive, but has so many issues and is not stuck in my garage! Any ideas?
Thanks All.

Silent - Have not had the battery load tested... But I did just buy and install this battery 9 months prior. Yesterday I jumped the car (battery was dead, actually) and while I got power from the charge (left it on for 15 mins), it still would not start.

If I was a gambling man I would bet the farm on it being the battery.

not the battery after all
Wish I was that lucky... Just replaced the battery, and while all interior electronics seem to work, the engine does not crank at all.
I also reviewed all fuses, everything looked intact. Getting a bit worried here that I have something major. I should propbaly have it towed into the stealership, but once it's there I am njot sure I can get it back without $$$ in work, which I cannot afford...
Aaack. Thoughts on next steps?
Oh, and Gotcha350, you owe me an imaginary farm!
I bet it thinks it is in gear... the gear shifter feels like it is between park and reverse! Now what?

Poked the shift lock, pulled it down to neutral, it started. Drivers side windows not operational leads me to think this is an ECU deal more than the PRNDL selector switch.
How complicated is the ECU swap - provided I can find / afford one? I have this to contend with in addition to a rotted Y-pipe where there's no aftermarket replacement for the 2006 AWD version... Honestly, the dealership would have me repair the ECU and Y-Pipe for $7K for a car worth $10K? Unlikely... Then there's brakes and tires to replace...
Anyone want a 60K mile GS300?
