Question on warrenty
I had taken my car in to get my sunvisor checked. When you open the mirror slider, it wouldn't turn on the light unless you force the all the way open and hold it.
When I brought it in under warranty (2012), they couldn't find the issue. I had brought the car back in 2014, but they said my warranty ended on 12/2013. And they don't have a record of me saying my mirror light didn't work.
Present day: I was going through all my invoices, and I found the invoice that said they couldn't find the issue when I brought the car in, while it was under warranty.
Are they still supposed to honor the warranty?

lesson learned. You have to act promptly and push them on the issue, or else you're usually out of luck.
Did they say "no issue found" or "they acknowledge problem , but could not find solution." ?
You shouldn't have waited 2 years. If they didn't fix the visor, you should have dragged your service advisor out to your car and showed him the problem directly.
