Steady Drip in SunRoof
Good Morning Everyone - I have a 2009 GS 350 AWD and this is my first issue I have had with my sunroof. It was raining this morning and we noticed that both rear corners of the sunroof have a steady drip leak. I opened and closed the glass as I figured it was a positioning issue but the leaks remain. I know there are drains but my guess is that the drains will not work fast enough for the water to drain (there is no other leaking and it is not leaking into the headliner yet). Do I need to take the car to the dealer or is there an easy fix to this problem - or is this even a problem?
Thanks
Thanks

There is a procedure for resetting the sunroof. It involves running the roof through several cycles. This will most likely fix your issue. Just do a search here for "resetting sunroof", look in your owner's manual or call the dealer for the procedure. There is a similar procedure for windows and seat motors as well if that ever comes up (sometimes after a service when the battery is disconnected).

my brother reported that my GS had a leak too, but he says it came from the driver top handle bar. My rubber seal on the sunroof exterior does have a little gap (seems a bit strange...) So it could be from that.
Anyway, you should try and clear the drains with a hook or something I would believe it gets clogged after many years of not cleaning.... happened to my minivan.
