Hey guys, since this vibration issue is so common on lowered 3gs I thought I'd take a crack at it , and I've come up with this
It's a quarter inch thick piece of steel made to slide and pivot in between the motor mount and frame.
My theory is that when you lower the front , the axles don't have enough angle, and they are basically binding on themselves. This plate is designed to slightly raise the engine to provide that angle...
I might be completely wrong, but I thought it was worth a shot.
I made one set so far, so now I need a tester.
Let me know if you are experiencing vibrations from lowering, what set up you have(coilovers, etc) and if you are willing to try this out.
Have you gotten someone to test them out yet? I'm ising F sport springs with 30mm LCA blocks front and rear. vibration is noticeable at idle and pick up but livable. I'd be interested to know if it works.

Thanks for the update. I was able to make a similar shim that's 1/4" in height. I can confirm the vibrations found when idling in gear, have reduced to a more tolerable rate.
As I swap out the LCA blocks for winter, I've gone thru the various vibration and wobble from different setups almost every 6months.
If you are able to fabicate a couple of sets, I'd be in for getting one as it does make a difference but I was already ok with what I had previously.

19x9.5 & 19x10.5

I'm at a shop all the time. The most time consuming thing was to find a suitable shim and bore the hole wide enough to fit around the mount screws. This probably took 30mins?
The install itself probably took all of 15mins as you need to push the engine up from underneath, slide the shims in and reinstall the nuts.
I'm gonna try your idea first, getting the spacers machined this week, when you put the spacers on the axles of your lowered 3GS, did you need an alignment afterwards? Did it change the camber? Thanks for any help.

It doesn't change any alignment angles. The spacers lift the engine
Well at this point its a trial and error. A little R&D goes a long way.
Im sure it will to a point, of getting the right angle on the axles. If you are seriously lowered im sure the spacer would need to be thicker to compensate for the angles.
