Default Uk Newbie needs some help on Wheel size / offset

Hi all,

Just got myself a GS300 third gen as a bit of project. looking for some advice on wheel size/ offset. I don't want to roll the arches but may drop it around 30mm. Some advice would be appreciated.

In the same situation lol, I'm thinking of running 19s. Just don't know what I can fit without rolling fenders. Haven't as yet got to test fitting wheels.

Thanks. I assume same applies to 19" rims and fitting flush without modifications.

Stick around 35mm in the front and 42mm in the rear. It will sit in the wheel arch and no crappy stretched tires required. This setup is for 20x8.5 and 20x10. The same would apply for 19s. Tires would be 245x35x19 and 275x30x19

Thanks for the reply, I am looking at a set of 19" x 8.5" front with ET 35 and 19" x 9.5" with ET 30 for the rear. Will run 235 front and 265 on rears. I think this will but some re assurance will be appreciated! Already had a set of Innovit Speedy rims that I am having to return as they don't clear the front callipers. These are 19 x 8.5 front with ET42 but look more like a wheel design issue than the offset.

Too much meat on them rears man, and I thought my current 255's in the rear were huge. Check out the stickied 3GS wheel thread, you'll find matching tire specs w/ wheel offsets that will give you some reassurance and looks you want. That +42 ain't my thang, but if it suits your taste then kudos!
