Hello all. Both my windshield wipers on my 2006 Lexus GS 300 AWD have gone bad. Before I contact the dealership for new wipers I was wondering are the windshield wipers on these cars easy to replace or better yet "do it yourself friendly." I hope this isn't a dumb question im asking. Just curious before I run to the stealership. Thanks guys

I like the OEM ones...if you're nice, they may install them for free.

I've always been using the OEM blades, but only replace the rubber inserts every year. A lot cheaper then the entire blade.

Are the blades easy to take off?

They are easy to take off...just replace the inserts...they are about $11 per side from the dealer...the entire blade is about $50-60 per side...smh

They're stupid easy, just SLIDE off the old inserts and SLIDE in the new inserts.

Installing wiper blades in general is pretty simple too once you get the hang of it!
