Sluggish shift between first and 2nd is, I don't think a fluid issue, usually worn fluid causes the transmission to shift a little harder than usual.

Drain and fill (not flush) is most likely harmless, but I think sometimes we over-medicate.

For example, you need to step out of the 80's and come into the 21st century with the warm ups. We don't need to warm up the car in Park. Drive it gently and the car will warm up just the same, and faster, with less waste.
I still warm up my car lol..... First thing I do when I get in the garage is turn on the car, air up and turn on the music for a little. Walk outside to check obstacles, take out trash or do whatever to keep myself occupied for 2 minutes, then get in and drive when I see it reach the first line on Hot and Cold.

It's just a habit of mine to warm up my cars -- mostly in the winter months since it's brutal here in NY.

To the gentlemen that are doing their service soon/ within a few days, let us know if any noticeable differences exist after the service. As far as the mutlitude of drain and fills -- seems costly, but might as well do it right if it's going to be another 60K miles before another service like this.
I'm in the same boat with warming up my cars, doesn't matter which, it's just a force of habit lol.

How many miles are you on anyway?

I took my car in for the recall yesterday and requested to have the transmission fluid changed. It about what i paid a few years ago...$195. Well I got a call a few mins ago saying that the tech didn't want to do it today because its not really needed since im only at 63k and because the weather is so bad...tons of humidity from the constant rain over the last week. He said the fluid asorbs more moisture than the older fluids so he wanted me to wait. I'll try again in a month when its time to get my oil changed....

On a side note....I am truly unimpressed with the 2015 ES 350....so plain...cheap materials...reminds me of the 2009 Acura TL on the inside....Lexus appears to be cutting cost...smh

Hmmm... the shifts are a bit rough but i dont expect the shifts to be lightning quick either....
