pretty sure the A/S 3's are rated at 45k miles, fyi. vast majority of my miles are highway miles....so with proper balance, rotations, alignments and tire pressure....I've usually gotten at LEAST to a tire's tread warranty mileage and usually higher. Put a 100k on a set of Bridgestone Turnanza's once, lol. They were an 80k mile rated tire and the tire store said they were in actually decent shape when I finally replaced them.

Late on chiming in, have had my conti purecontacts forever now, it still rides really good and pretty quiet! Treads are still looking new 30-40k now.

I don't peel out or do burnouts or squeal the tires in any way or form on them though. I DO get into spirited driving sometimes around corners though. That's about it.

That's sort of how my driving style is! I didn't know GS350'S can do burnouts LOL, never tried launching the car either since the tranny is acting old

Damn nanny systems....if you can get them to truly turn off you can get a few burnouts going...I did them all the way to the tire shop when I was replacing my Michelin PSS...

Just diasble the traction control (fully disable it) and VSC I believe and have a field day

I tried it once or twice and opted back to the cars sytems since it can get wild behind the wheel of a 4,000 monster ripping down a road lol

That Power button tho....

I did turn it off a few times in the snow.... and like once in the dry to see the grip.... But I never tried the burnouts since I think my brakes are bit flawed....

If you hold traction control down for like 5 seconds it'll turn off VSC and traction control i think.... Is your GS stock? How does it handle? understeer first?

i have a set of DWS for 2 years now and i hated it big time, really noisy after 30k miles, like REALLY noisy, i had the tire dealer ride with my car and the lexus dealer do the alignment over and over they were telling me its normal for these type of tires.

i used to love it for the first 5000 miles but after that it made my car sound and feel cheap
