New to Lexus....2011 GS 350 AWD
Hey everyone, I'm new to Lexus and got my first one. I picked up a 2011 GS 350 AWD. I dropped the front 20mm with RCA blocks and I put on new wheels while using 25mm spacers front and rear. I think I'm going to switch the front to 15mm since they seem to hang out a little too much.
I feel like the roads around here are too rough to go more than 18's.
Up next is window tinting and then exhaust when it warms up.

So far I'm not. The fronts rub a little on turns but that's not on top. I've only noticed the backs rubbing on a really big bumps. Normal and even spirited driving hasn't rubbed at all.

20mm.... thats like almost an inch? rim size 18....? so 2 inch drop supposedly from my stock gs.... and it still rubs? i thought about dropping an inch so it would look a bit more nicer now having second thoughts...

25.4mm is exactly an inch. So, I dropped the front with RCAs only 20mm and with stock tires and wheels (225/50-17) and I had no rubbing at all. I put on my new tires (245/40-18) and 18x8 +38mm wheels as well as 25mm spacers to allow clearance of the front calipers and I don't have rubbing other than when I turn the front wheels hard. The rubbing I have is from the tire touching the inside of the fender well towards the passenger compartment but that seems to be caused by the wider tires and the excessive spacers. I ordered a set of 15mm spacers for the front to see if that fixes the front. I don't have rubbing in the rear at all so far.

mmm... I'm still learning about wheels haha... So its basically too wide for the front due to the spacers... but I think i've seen 18in sport lexus rims on the GS with 245 rears and fronts i dont see why u need spacers for the calipers... also cant you roll the fenders or something like that, to not make it rub? so the passenger side tire is rubbing the fender or the driver side? If anything it might be the fat chicks JKJK
The other rubbing is from the wheel to the fender well but not at the top. It's only on tight turns so that leads me to believe that it's caused by the wheel spacing being a little too far out. I'll put the shallower spacer on and see what happens.
