to get your DRL and Fog lights light bulbs replaced? We are talking replacing 2 sets of bulbs at a shop, so just wanted to get a general idea if someone has had experience with this. Thanks in advance.

You're probably going to be charged anywhere from 0.5 to 1.0hr of labor. Being a tech that's what I would charge depending on if you're doing other services at the same time. Some people wont even charge if you're doing a bunch of services (oil change, rotate, coolant flush, t-belt etc)
Why don't you just do it yourself? Its pretty easy even if you're not too tech savvy.

It's a super easy process, just do a quick search for plenty of DIY's with pics. Best of luck!

Fog lights are more of a PITA to replace... the DRL/high beams take 5min if that. 1HR labor at a shop should be the most.

Fog lights very easy lots of room when you move the wheel liner a bit. DRL/brights sucked but maybe my hands are too big lol. HID headlights were really easy. Come to Minnesota I will do it for fun!

DRL/Highbeams are very easy other than the HID's if you have big hands, which I had and dropped the bulb in the housing that was a pita to get out.

Thanks everyone for your replies, and sorry for my late response.

I recently took a trip to the dealer, and had some steering wheel alignment issue looked at, and the dealer service center also did the recall issue for me. I happened to asked them about replacing the two sets of bulbs. Dealership quoted me $79 to install the DRL, and $112 for the fogs. Yikes.

I found a friend who is handy, so I am going to rely on his expertise to go about bulb switching. Hopefully it will not be too bad when it comes to the fogs. Thanks again for all of your feedback!

Too bad Minnesota is kind of far, otherwise I would drive up just for the fun of it.

We are going to have to ask you to leave the forum if you don't make this project a DIY. Sorry.

I'm kidding.
