But other than that...struts, bushings, engine mounts, etc...

There is always something you can replace to make it better....all rubber based components degrade over time...

Good luck with that....for what it will cost you could have gotten a newer model with a lot lower miles...
I only paid $11,000 for it.

He'd have FAR more issues down the road with an Owie, haha. Such terrible cars. Fun to drive and pretty to look at, but I don't think he wants a check engine light burnt into his retinas.

tranny, motor oil, differentials, coolant, brake. if you're at 137k...all of those should've been replaced at LEAST once by now..if not more. (of course motor oil every 5k).

you're not kidding. Audi...and it's German brothers are uber expensive to keep maintained and even more expensive to KEEP them on the road long term. Beautiful cars and super nice when under 50k miles...then...get your check book ready.

That was a joke....just in case yall took it seriously.

But anyway...nice deal on the car...and good luck! Hope you find the reason behind the vibrations.

Well if it's free labor then hell, ask the mechanic to check it out, tip that guy if u watch him inspect it good, from the engine to the bottom. Chances are if he drives it then he might find more serious problems. chances are they have driven cars with similar problems. If u want to check it out yourself and learn a bit about your car, then that's even better.

Ok thanks guys. I'm going to take it in for all the fluids to be serviced and then have them try to figure out what the vibrating is from.

why flush coolant when it's still cooling properly?

Funny... I just took my 06 GS300 in for its 90k mile service and asked about a tranny fluid drain and fill, and they tell me I have world standard fluid and it doesn't need to be changed, even though all over this forum I hear of the same issues people have with their 3GS until they drain and fill the fluid a few times.

How much did you buy it for if you don't mind me asking. I got my 07 gs350 99k miles for $17k. Previous owner serviced it all the way to lexus dealership.

I don't see anything beautiful about Audi's. They all look the same. Like a subaru weird and expensive but for what?

Please don't waste your money on the vibrating thing. Lexus will charge you an arm and a leg for that simple thing. Your wheels need to be balanced. This should cost you around $20 at a tire shop. Trust me, it's worth it. I had that same issue. See how much Lexus charges you and compare but I would take it to a ghetto tire shop where they do balancing. Reason is because Tire balancing is not a science and it would be ok to have it done at a ghetto tire shop. See for your self. I know that at certain speeds, it feels smoother but you don't want to drive at that speed all the time do you?

Let me know what happens. Thanks.

I would check the struts. I changed mine at 58k and the car is like new. Tire balancing is always an issue I have taken mine back 5 times one time and finally got it right. Lexus told me the rims were bent, they were not.
