06 GS300 Drove all day in freezing rain, but when I went to leave the store, the drivers side windshield wiper decided to stop working. I was able to make it back to the parking lot. The passenger side is working fine, but that was not helping me at the time.

Any idea on what could have caused this issue?

I think the screw that hold the windshield wiper down to the gear became loose and has a bad contact. Try tightening the screw.

Thanks. That was it. Tightened the screws and I am back in business.

This happen to me recently. First the passenger and then the driver side. I could've sworn that when the passenger side went I tightened the opposite side. Could it be that they be are coming loose over time?
