I'm planning to install a trailer hitch on my 2007 GS450h so I can hook it up to a hitch mount bike rack. I have seen it done before on the third generation GS (Non hybrid models) here on Clublexus but I can't seem to find any info on a trailer hitch for GS450h.

My question is are the undercarriage for both the GS350 and the GS450h the same?

Did you ever successfully install the hitch on your 450h, I have a 2008 GS450H I would like to install a hitch on to use for a ski rack & possibly some light towing, but can not find any hitches for sale that claim they fit that model. Only hitches I found found are for the GS350.

I have one for my 06 430. Use the crap outa that thing. Kayak, Bikes, 65" Flat screen TV's. lol. Never towed anything though.

Yes, they fit just like any other GS. The one I ordered is from the link above and the installation was exactly the same as the GS350!

I am going in install this hitch onto my GS300 but don't know what to torque the bolts to on the frame. Do you know?

Its not critical, tighten until your hand torque says its tight. I would add a bit of blue loctite. I have installed the same hitch 8 years ago. Its great, no issues! but just be aware of reversing into parking spots in reverse as the lower portion hangs a bit low and smacks the parking dividers if there too high.

I think theres only one company that makes them for our cars and its Curt hitches. Its class 1 so its a small duty hitch, but ive pulled super heavy, some pretty heavy stuff with it with no issues. Small trailer filled with concrete, motorcycles, etc I swear sometimes I think im driving a truck.

Correct I only found Curt Hitch (#11372) for my GS300. Just had it delivered today. Going to grab some loctite and install it tonight.
