Not true, the 350 is starting to fail as an engine too. You can find examples of 350s having oil burning and misfiring issues right here on clublexus.
Where? What maybe one or two people when the 350 numbers are way higher than the 300? I don't see any thread dedicated to the GS or IS 350. If you can link me to them I would appreciate it. Thanks

Even Lexus SA admits the GS 350 does consume some oil.
All manufactures state that some oil consumption is normal and it is as long as it's within their specs. My 08 with 63k on it doesn't burn any oil. I've used synthetic since the first oil change at 5k.
The post I was referring to was not about oil consumption it was about the misfire issue that plagues the 300. Think about it. In the 3GS you had one model year that the 300 was in production compared to 5 yrs that the same 350 has been produced. So the number would favor the 350 if issue plagued it like the 300.
Go read the post by BinaryJay explaining that the two issues that plague the 300 are not directly related.
I've never had a car that consumed oil. I've used synthetics in all my cars. I still have my 94 Legend with 120k and even it doesn't consume any oil. I don't do extended oci's so maybe that's why. I also drive all my cars hard at times.
