Hi team,

I am interested equipping my ride with a new set of shoes. After browsing the popular 'wheels' thread, it seems that the 4th gen GS F-sport rims aren't the hype on our 3rd gen GS. Found these PVD dipped (dark chrome) wheels http://www.ebay.com/itm/19-LEXUS-GS-F-SPORT-PVD-CHROME-WHEELS-RIMS-TIRES-2013-2014-15-FACTORY-OEM-74270-/181462958577?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Wheel_Packages&hash=item2a400901f1&vxp=mtr, what do you think? My car color is smokey granite mica (darky grey) so i am hoping that it'll match well rather than look strange. Your thoughts would be appreciated. At the time of installation of the wheels, i will also be lowering the car (1-inch at most) with vision of retaining near stock ride quality. Can anyone shed some light on a proper lowering method?

For that price I would go aftermarket to be honest and that'd REALLY change up the look of your car. As far as lowering, F-Sport Springs would be closest to stock ride but the drop is neglible and many people can't even tell the car is lowered with them(it's that subtle). If you want to make your car look mildly lowered but still retain close to stock I'd go with Tanabe NF210's. But ideally coilovers are the best as I went from NF210's and upgraded to coilovers about a year after. You will get to adjust it to exactly how low and exactly how stiff/soft you want. Springs are ~$250, coilovers are $650-1500.
