Default 06 GS300 - Blower/Fan cabin air stopped ?

I've tried the search, it either shows me unrelated info or it just plain crashes my web page ?

My interior fan/blower stopped, the screen works but no fan or noise at all... I'll get a little bit of heat coming through the vents but with it getting colder out I need the fan !!

I've read that the module is not always the culprit or even the fan motor ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated !!

Thanks.

How many miles does your 300 have??
Man oh man...these GS300's have me scared...I'm looking at one right now....but it seems these things are somewhat issue ridden. And have you had any issues at all with oil consumption/engine issues?

Gee... Thanks for the insightful input !!

The cost to repair this car is much less than many of my friends are putting into their vehicles.

Good luck with what ever vehicle you purchase, they all have there quirks... I'd rather deals with Lexus or Toyota issues over many of the other makes of cars.

Update...
.. I started to pull apart my panels to access the Blower Motor.

Well.. the blower motor started up just as I removed the center console.
No wires in there that run to the fan ???

I cycled between the fan speeds and it all worked just fine.
I turned the system off and retried, it wasn't working again.

I removed all the panels and unplugged the motor, check for power with a test light... it had power.
Plugged it back in and the fan is working now.

Guess I'll drive around for a day with the panels off in case it stops again ?
I was hoping to confirm either a bad motor or no power but no luck this time !!

LOL!!!
My sincere apologies man...never did I mean to, nor was it my intention to slight your vehicle of choice! I apologize once again for not having a more cordial and possibly more informative "2 cents"*regarding your issue. As I stated I'm in the market for one, but I read alot of quirky things about them and the issues that arise. As you've said, they are dependable cars obviously, however I just have to adopt the idea that they do simply have quirks.
I do hope you find an inexpensive solution and who knows, in the event I purchase a 3rd Gen GS, I may be asking you are referring to something you've posted to aid me with a repair or two!
Good luck with the issue!

Thanks... I'll be the first to agree the Lexus GS has more quirks than I originally expected !!

I think the previous Gen GS were the better built version to own but I love the styling, power, all wheel drive in my Gen3 GS.

Sorry about the abrupt reply in my earlier post.
