I do have Vasitech SL2VI & i am trying to install MimicsX2 so that I can controllIphone from headunit in order to do that I need to install 2 switches.I am trying to figureout best place to install one switch
which will be used frequently to flip controll for IPhone & Factory controlls.I am considering slots next to heated seats.What do you guys think about it?

Can we install anything on slide down controll panel cluster(Where we have controlls to mirrors,gas,trunk & etc)

I ordered below switch hopefully it fits

It wasnt really hard,Only thing is takes lot of time & we need to plan for it.

Is the ribbon cable that you need to remove and have the new touch screen interface run though easily accessible?

I used below instruction to connect ribbon cable.Everything is similar.Only thing is we need to be cautious to unplug the ribbon carefully.In my case it took some effort to unplug the ribbon & hook up the connector,Also we need to get long wires to install the switch & other parts.
