I really should make it a habit to fold my mirrors in... but someone somehow knocked my mirror in (not the glass, but the enclosure itself. It isn't broken but it doesn't stand anymore,. Does anyone know of a fix or if i have to replace the whole enclosure?

I bought one used on ebay for $100 and got it re-painted for about $60. It would be cheaper to do it that way than buy a new one. Just make sure its the power folding mirror if you decide to get one on ebay

what's that residue on the paint did you use duct tape to hold it on?

I've got a complete OEM passenger side assembly complete with mirror. The dealer replaced it for me under warranty and left it in my trunk.

It's in Metador red

Oh and it's a 2008+ one!

Had the same thing occur on my Sc. I eventually fastened the top and bottom w/ Velcro. Although, the mirror doesn't fold you can still adjust. It works and is a cheap fix till u replace it.

Yeah mac, i tried to duct tape it just so i could do a bit of driving but i decided to just leave it at home until i can fix it. I can buy a new one, but you from the looks of it, i can't replace that right?
