Default Independent Fog light

I searched and really could not fit the solution. Has anyone figured a way to wire up our fog lights independently? Where it can come on with the DRL? I see the IS can do it, not sure if same applies for the gs

I found that thread where a member here did it. I found it a week ago and wasn't trying to do that, but now I can't find it!

I would think with a relay you connect the drl light to the fog light under neath the hood where the fuses are

I think this is what your talking about...

Its not the same process as what they are doing on the 2IS thread but it seems to work. I've been thinking about doing something like this with a toggle switch inside of the car. I don't see the point in DRL's when the sun is shining but wouldn't mind having the fogs on if its cloudy or lightly raining.

Default Fogs

I brought a set of aftermarket foglights & used the wiring to install my fogs to work independently then turned off the DRL,it looks pretty good
