Bought a set of 6000K Garax from mtecpower on ebay, put them on and they look very much like OEM 4300k, asked for a replacement and sent the first sets back. The second set of 6000K Garax came and put them on, 1 side was white the other was oem. I thought I was seeing things so I asked a few people and they said the same.

Then after 2-3 days of use the 2nd set of bulbs both turned yellowish white like 4300k. Is the seller giving me some fake bulbs or is it something to do with the ballast or something else?

I use to buy my Garax from motoringmax and it worked fine and the lights were actually 6000k.

any ideas??

sounds like nock off to me after 2 days and they go like that something is up

We'll the garax 6k don't look oem if they are legit. I had them many moons ago and they had a blueish tint, I'd say they are fake. Can you take a pic of bulb and box for us to see.

I just got a set of Garax 6k and they're fine and stayed a solid blueish. ^ what he said, take a photo of the box for us.

I think they were requesting a pic of the packaging because its hard to tell headlight color in a picture. I don't have Garax bulbs but my 6k bulbs don't look green they are an exact match to my 6k city lights.

Yeah that's what I thought too, it's just odd how I got 2 sets from the seller and they both turn out looking like 4300K.

As for the packaging, I forgot to take a pic argg. But before I shipped it back, I compared it with my old garax box and they both look identical, I checked closely and all the fonts and Japanese text were dead on and aligned correctly, the only thing was the seller put a tape over the top right corner and wrote with pen "D4S".

Do you guys know where I can buy a set of genuine Garax? I was gonna try auto-perfect on Ebay but his listings just looks like mtecpowers lol.
