Default Offset is off, and now i have an extra set of wheels

So i picked up a set of Sport edition wheels, 17x8 offset is 35mm. Before I got my snow tires mounted i thought i would put the wheel on the front to make sure the calipers cleared. NOPE! they didnt. Now im debating on if I should get some spacers or not. Im not very happy about spacers but may just do it. WHat do you guys think? I believe the OEM 17' wheels on my 08 GS350 have an ofset of 45mm. Can any one confim. Thanks guys!!!!

the 350s have larger brakes so 35mm doesnt clear. they clear on the 300s but not the 350s. IIRC 38mm clears.

imho if it's just your winter set, maybe spacers are fine

that will work. i remember coming across a thread years ago back in like 09 when a few members were discussing this. all the 350 guys who had 35mm offsets just used a 5mm spacer to clear the brakes.

i dont think you'll have any issues with a 5mm spacer

I will hopfully be trying this setup tonight, one of my co-workers works at a local shop part time. He grabbed me a set of 5mm spacers during lunch. Getting the tires mounted now. Helps working at a dealership mounting and balancing while i work. lol

5mm and the nuts already don't catch the studs? that sounds weird. i would expect it to still bolt on but just with less turns
