13.9-14.1, does this sound about right for our cars?

I think the RWD GS350 will faster than the AWD version. Though one would usually think the AWD could get out of the hole faster, I don't think the GS350's have enough low end torque that taking off is that much of a problem.

That Road & Track time seems a little optimistic, but not impossible. Maybe they did it on less than 1/4 tank of gas and had a jockey driving?

A run of the mill GS350 should be able to run a low 14 without too much difficulty.

Good luck and let us know how you do.

OP: Also, wheels size will have some influence. It take a little more effort to get those big wheels going. Does your car have 17", 18", or larger wheels? Some 20" wheels would probably slow you down a bit at the track compared to 17's or 18's.

When I meant purge, I meant into the engine, sorry for the confusion . Do share your results if you get the standalone/fields piggy back working! I've been very interested in trying out a MS ECU build (I've done it before).

You have run a gs460 on MS? There is a guy on the MS forums who used the tranny controller on the 8 speed. Do you have any wiring diagrams from your previous project?

Ohh no! I've done it on a Miata before... It was definitely a learning experience, I ran it in sync with the O.E. ECU.

I definitely want to get into contact with the guy who did it on the MS forums if you have his info.

I went nuts looking for the info on it, but only one instance I know that one guy's done it on a 3uz, and he put his 3uz on a boat..... Under a decent tune, he got 350HP out of it though. I thought that was pretty darn good for just a basic tune!

Im on stock 18" wheels. Because its my wifes car , not to much modding is going to happen beside wheels and a drop. But when I drive the Gs, can't help notice how the car moves with authority. The highway seems even more noticable , can't tell you how many times I went to go pass a car and I end up passing 3 or 4 and noticing I am already well into tripple digits with out effort. With the power our 350's makes , it feels like a high 13 sec car. Of course feeling and making that actual time is the difference between night and day.

LOL.... Put a is250 AWD on the track, you'll feel like it's a mid 14 sec car..... When you pass that finish line, you'll most likely see 16.5-16.9 LOL!

These cars DO feel speedy, I kid you not.... There's times where I pushed down on the pedal, looked back and went.... Whoops, kind of overdid it on the overpass.

That's awesome! You think it's universal with the 6-sp also?

Definetly. You just need to find the pin outs. Im not sure how, if at all the trac control etc would work with this. The guy who used the 8spd was attaching it to a 540 olds.
