GS 350 2007 vs. 2010
I'm in the market for a used GS. 2010 GS 350 sticker price with $28,000 with 22,500 miles and 2007 GS 350 sticker $20,400 with 55,000 miles. I test-drove both and honestly couldn't really tell the difference. I will try to lower 2010 price to 27k~28k OTD, but is it really worth $8k more than 2007?
Options wise pretty much the same, except that 2010 has ML audio with new navi, aux, bluetooth audio streaming etc. Don't know why but seemed like mileage on 2007 was a tad better. Obviously 2010 would have a little bit more warranty left.
Please let me know any thoughts - any thoughts greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

I would go with the 2010 you will be able to get the car for 24-26K otd if you wait it out, the closer we get to 2014 is when prices start drastically dropping across the board.
Again the key is to be patient!
Plus by 2010 a lot of the kinks have been worked out, it has lower mileage and resale value is better.
Also the 2007 is a bit over priced then again I'm assuming you have every single option offered except PCD radar which was an ordered option. and ML on the 07.
jus my .02 cent

So I was at the dealer again. Sticker $28,000. They are charging prep fee $900, internet fee $500, doc fee $350, DMV $250. Add tax, it comes out to be approx. $32,000.
I told them no other is charging such bs fees like prep fees or internet fees. They said they can only waive the internet fee of $500.
I offered them $29,000 OTD including tax, which would be approx. $27,100 without tax and walked out.
They got back to me saying they can renegotiate the price if I finance through them - min. requirement is $10k. I don't want them to pull a hard inquiry on my credit and later comes up with a bogus number again. They would not talk about the price before I submit the credit app though. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Never done a used car shopping before with financing. Please advise...
PS. My credit is top tier with 770+ score.
Thank you!

Hi - we were in the same situation when buying our used 2010 GS350. The dealership need us to finance and we agreed but we paid off the loan with the first payment. Make sure there is no penalty for early payment - we had the dealership state that. As far as interest rates - if they know you are going to pay it off they are going to screw you with a slighly higher interest rate. Ours was in the 4% and our credit was top tier as well. Good luck and read the fine print.
