My face gets everytime I see ANYTHING pop-up on the dash..... I'm honestly STILL not use to the green headlight/foglight indicator on the dash.... It makes me feel like another CEL went off lol.
There's a delay from when the TPMS system will read. Like Rominl said unless there's a sudden lost of pressure found, the system checks around 50 miles or when you complete a certain criteria.
Most likely the wheels you brought did not have sensors on them, because either way you had to program the sensors from the aftermarket wheels into the TPMS system for it to function properly
I didn't find out that lexus didn't bother programming a new TPMS in a wheel they ruined on me until I went on a road trip. It's a stupid useless system on this car.

lol if the green light bothers you, you should see what happens when you damage your wheel speed sensor. my dash lit up like a christmas tree
