Default Would 225 35 R 20's Look too narrow on my 06 GS?

Hey Guys,

I am looking to buy a set of rims and they come with 225 35 R 20's, my concern is that once I throw them on they will look too narrow?

Whats your thoughts? Anyone have pics of this size on there GS?

Thanks,

OK, any time your rim sticks out way past your wheel, then YES, they're too narrow

The tires look ok on the rims, they dont stick out at all. I just don't know if I should be going atleast 245's as that is the size of tire on my 18" factory rim?

225/35 on a 8.5" rim work for me and on a 9" it is a little stretched.

If you are putting 225/35-20 on the rear..i think it will look sunken in.

They are either a 8 or 8.5 (look a tad stretched)

I think they would be fine on an 8" or 8.5" rim. I have 235/35 R20 on my 8.5" rim and it is a little meaty.
