Default AC revolution sensor (speed / slip sensor)

Does anyone know how to bypass the ac compressor lock sensor . It's also known as the speed sensor or slip/revolution sensor. this is the sensor that is part of the compressor, and after a full diagnostic, we think this is the problem with the AC.

Any CELs? I imagine that you'll run into more problems by attempting to disable it. It's too smart.

No cels. we got a code from the ac module, and it basically says compressor not working. which is pretty useless. i already know this.
the compressor/cluth spins for 10 secs and cold air comes out then it stops. we ran all sorts of test and we think it's the lock sensor that's busted, which is a part of the compressor. so we need to replace it. it's $350 plus $200 for labor.

Maybe you have too much freon in the system, and or the temperature sensor is acting up. I would jump the plug on the sensor and see what it does.

i just got my car back from the mechanics who happened to be my friends. the freon is perfect. where is the temperature sensor?

we bypassed the lock sensor but the ac button is still blinking.
when the engine is running, the ac light blinks. when the engine is off, the ac light stays constant. i think this indicates something wrong with one of the compressors sensors. not the ac amp.

if i have the ac on and keep pressing the auto button, the ac will stay on and blow cold air

can you pull a part # for your AC Compressor? Maybe I can take a stab and help you find a replacement/rebuildable part for it

It'll also help out future members here

The sensor is probably near or on the AC Dryer, it should have a 2 wire plug on it. What you can do is take a paper clip and jump the two wires on the plug and that will run the ac compressor direct. If the ac works fine replace that sensor, if it does the same thing. Youll have to diagnose other parts.

How did you bypass the lock sensor? I am having issues with my 04 gx470 and i believe this sensor to be the issue. However i cant seem to locate the info on how to bypass it correctly.
