Window Tint Problems
I tinted my GS and noticed some gaps so I took it back. I just picked my car up from having the windows redone and there are still gaps! Before I go back a third time and show my *** I wanted to see if I am being to picky. I took pictures of a few windows but they all have gaps and I've tinted every car I've owned and never had gaps before.

When the windows are fully up are the gaps still visible? Some installers go by the theory that a gap is necessary to insure the film remains attached after several years of service. Yours does look excessive however.

Thank you everyone for responding, the shop I went to uses a tint cut by a computer. This is the first time I've had a tint installed this way and I'll make sure not to go this route again. If I only paid 100 - 150 which is what I have paid in the past I wouldn't mind. However, I paid a little over $500 to get the windows and lights tinted!! It was suppose to be some special 3M tint that reduces the heat inside of the car. Granted it does keep the car cooler than previous cars but it wasn't worth what I paid. Personally I think they over charged me because I pulled up in a Lexus but I wanted it done and my regular tint shop is an hour away from where I currently live. I'll go back on Monday and demand a refund, they aren't getting a third shot at tinting my car.
FYI - All the windows were up when I took the pictures, the first pic is the front passenger side window, next is the round window on the passenger side and the last picture is the rear passenger side. The driver side is just as bad, granted the front driver window doesn't have any gaps but now there are white lines between the tint and the glass due to them not removing all of the glue before re-tinting the window!

yeah, that's too much.... I don't have that type of gap.
3M film can go both ways, I'm unsure if 500$ is the justifiable price as tint comes in many flavors for 3M. You should ask them for model of the tint they're using and etc.
Food for thought: There's some tints out there that are ~$.5-1k in price range due to the fact that they block out 99% UV Rays at very high percentage tints.
After you find out the model of 3M they use, you can do a bit more research and see if your car's tint is 99% UV Rejection and heat rejection (both are different).
