Question AP2 tips arrived.....but there's a problem

So I got a nice set of AP2 tips off eBay, appears to be the easiest mod ever with just one bolt to tighten. Polished em up last night and was all excited to install them tonight after work. Go out to the garage and shimmy under the GS and.......how the hell do the stock tips come off?!!? There's no bolt underneath and no visible means of attachment. I thought maybe pressure fit, but yanked around on them and they do not move.

Grab a rag and man handle that bad boy off. Then you will need longer bolts for the ap2 tips because the stock honda are not long enough. So drive off to a hardware store and get the next size up from the honda in length

YES! Screwdriver in the notch on the bottom and just tap with a hammer as it backs off slowly. When it's a little more than halfway off you can wiggle it the rest of the way by hand. Pics in new thread.
