I'm looking to buy the 09-10 GS350 AWD. I actually found one at a BMW dealership so its not certified but it has low miles. What to look for?

I'm just wondering how much is the maintenance and has anyone had any big problems?
I've had my 01 Acura TL since 1-05 and nothing major has happened besides that tranny problem which was recalled. I still love my car but I think it should be time to let it go. I have 170k on it and I'm sure with just basic maintenance I can get another 170k out of it.

Any advice would be great from you GS350 owners. Thanks

Need more info, how many miles, what year? Not really they have been some with tranny problems but it is very rare, mostly on GS 300 though.

09 GS 350 AWD Nav- not sure if it has Mark Levinson. 24k Miles. No accidents. They're asking 28,000 but I'll offer them 26,500

I have 2010 GS350 AWD with Nav and ML that I bought CPO with 26k miles. It is at 32k miles now. So far no big issues other than dashboard rattle at cold temperature and a headlight unit I had to get it replaced under warranty due to the defective seal (look for water droplets after a car wash). Love the car so far. You probably did your homework but type the vin under Lexus Owners page (need to register first) to check for service history.

Yep I think that's a fair offer, as that's what I would offer. The dash rattles def have them taken cared of if they were not previously done. The headlight I wouldn't be so worried about, as it will be a long process no matter what. Make sure the brakes and rotors are in good order, as I have seen them at BMW dealership and they neglect to take care of other cars than there own. Good luck post pics once you purchase one!

Would the car still be under warranty for being an 09 with 24k on it

Yes but barely, it depends on the in service date. I would extend the warranty, if you want there is someone on here who extends the warranty at a better price than the dealer.
