60,000 mile service
Hello,
My 2006 GS300 just hit 59,000 miles. I started shopping around for the 60k service.
dealer wants $875 with $100 off after taxes.
Toyota delaership wants $700.
Local repair shop $450 to $500.
Just wondering what place you guys suggest. Is it worth the extra $$ at the lexus dealership?

I think you can get them to check what needed, all you need is an oil change, spark plugs, engine
air filter, and cabin air filter. I would inspect your shocks and struts and ball joints and bushings. I would not pay for the full service though. I would go to a reputable mechanic and get that work done there.

I'm coming up on my 60K service also. Spark plugs are cheap if you order them from Sewell, cabin filter is about $15. I'm just going to do the work myself and save tons of cash. and I'm no mechanic, its that simple.
