My 2008 gs 350 E-brake or parking break isnt as tight anymore on a hill it doesn't stop my car when applied when parked any ideas how to adjust this? i rather not go to the dealer if its a simple fix?

Either the pads need replacing or the cable has stretched and just needs tightened.
Any independent mechanic will be able to do either of those.

The brake shoes can be adjusted. Remove the rear wheels and you'll find a rubber grommet on the face of the drum part of the rotor. Spin the rotor until the rubber grommet is at either 12 or 6 o'clock (can't remember 100%). Remove the grommet and you should see the adjuster. Rotate it in an upward direction to tighten (I believe). Be cautious not to tighten too much or else the shoes will drag while driving. Hopefully my memory is correct!

On my 2006 GS430 the parking brake adjuster is at 3 o'clock on the drivers side and 9 o'clock on the passengers side

Mine always loosens up. Had it tightened twice in two years, and it always goes back to its dirty, old ways.
