F Sport/IS F Fender Badges

It's because a "badge" has a different meaning than a moniker on the wheels.

I have never mentioned if I have upgrades or not. You've assumed that I don't and actually I do. Many people here do different upgrades which I find great, bad or funny. I have tried to encourage a new member who was looking for an advice before he was made fun of. Examples shown were extreme and were redicoulous. Be supportive of memebers. Since Lexus didn't make straight from factory an f-sport 2006-2011 GS350 I thought it is a great idea of adding a badge if makes someone happy even if he/she doesn't have upgrades.
BTW, I am supportive of new members. I was trying to give him what I thought was good advice. I think the advice you are giving him is bad. Why slap an F-Sport badge on a car that is 1) not F-Sport and 2) has no F-Sport parts? Why would you think that it's a great idea? Is it illegal, no. It's just unethical.
I guess it's just a pet peeve of mine. Like people who change the Acura symbol to a Honda symbol because it looks more JDM yo! Basically any change whatsoever to a car's name or trim level gets under my skin. I don't care if you spend 199,000 on upgrading an IS350 to 1,000 whp and to handle better than an F1 car. It's not an IS-F, so don't put an IS-F badge on it.

EDIT: The examples you posted have nothing in common with the ones I posted. I also did not insinuate that there was anything poseurish about authentic ///M or AMG cars. I also did not say anything negative about a GS car with installed F-Sport parts displaying F-Sport badges.
Honestly? you can put on an FSport badge if you want, however.. it would appropriate if you had FSport equipment installed otherwise what's the point right?
Yes, you will get some slack cause the FSport cars coming out of Lexus have them as well so I really don't see the problem.
Previously, it was just the ISF that had them which made having them on other models appear as "posing".

I apologize if it seamed like I was insinuating anything. really wasn't. I was merely adding some spice to those earlier pics of cars with badges!

I surely wasn't suggesting that your cars were posing.

To me, there's a difference between this:
Versus this:
The first picture implies that the car is equipped with add-on F-Sport parts. The second one implies that it is an F-Sport model, which makes all the difference. I wouldn't put either badge on my car (yes I have F-Sport parts installed), but the one Designo has is the much lesser of two evils.
It's your car Luke, so if you're happy with it that's all that matters. I just think that is sacrilege to start playing the badge game on a Lexus. But don't mind me... I'm a grouch.
I even get annoyed when people refer to their USDM cars by the JDM names. Like guys who drive a 240SX and refer to their car as a "Silvia". Just shut up. lol. Yeah, I'm ridiculous for even caring. Just one of many pet peeves of mine. Don't take what I say as a personal attack... I'm just philosophizing here...
