Default Which exhaust? Tanabe, Invidia or Megan?

Hey guys....long time Lexus enthusiast that just moved into a 3rd Gen '08 350.

I know there are a ton of exhaust threads but thought I would get some up to date feedback. While I really like the sound of the HKS exhaust the best, in my opinion, the rounded canisters look ridiculous when looking at the car from the side. Most of the other exhaust options have an oval canister which tucks better when looking at the car from the side. I was really disappointed to see that Borla doesn't have an option for the 3rd Gen.

So what do you guys recommend? Tanabe seems to be the higher price point out of the 3 that I listed above. Anyone using the Invidia set up? How about the mid pipes? Anyone actually done a dyno before and after exhaust install?

You won't be dissapointed with Tanabe. Its tips are the best looking(imo) and the sound is still very luxurious not as obnoxious as HKS. I have Invidia midpipe and there's very teeny rasp from 4k+ rpm's so I think Megan's is slightly better sounding.

what about the greddy evo 2? anyone have experience with that?
seemed to sound really nice.

i originally wanted a junction produce 2 but it seems impossible to source so i'm in the same boat as OP.

tbh the tanabe sounded a lil too high pitched and strained to me almost like the old school turbo's that always seemed to be running at 8K RPM.

i prefer a much throatier growl rather then a riced out whine if you follow me.

cheers.

I still haven't decided which way to go on the exhaust. The Tanabe set up is significantly more expensive then the other options.

I was hoping someone with the Megan set up could chime in.

Just my 2 cents but I tried the Top speed and the fit was not acceptable to me. Hit the body work on the sides and was too short on the tips.
I spent the extra money and picked up a Tanabe and am very happy.
The Top speed was a nice quality material and welds looked fine but just did not fit well. Perhaps they have fixed it now?
