As the title states, will the 7 spoke 08+ GS350 17" rims fit on an 06 GS430? I know the 06-07 GS300 10-spoke rims will NOT fit on an 06-07 GS430 because of the bigger brakes, but I am not sure about the 08+ 7-spoke 17" GS350 rims. I guess another way to ask the question is whether the 08+ GS350 and GS460 have the same brakes. If the answer to that question is yes, then my guess is that the 08+ GS350 17" 7-spoke rims will fit an 06 GS430. Thanks.

7 spoke and 10 spoke will clear gs430 brakes. Gs350 comes with same brakes as gs430, gs460 and gs450h.

correct, any 07+ wheels will fit on your gs430, no matter if it's gs430, 450h, 460, or 350

Thanks H. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 17" wheels for the 07 GS350 were the same 10-spoke wheels that were used on the 2006 GS300. It was my understanding that the 06 GS300 had smaller brakes, and those wheels would not fit on the GS430/460. Is there any truth to that?

Also, will there be any issues with handling from a safety perspective? I don't think so, but just checking.

i honestly don't know for sure if the 06 gs300 17s will clear gs430. but i know the 17s on the 07+ gs350 will fit over any off the cars. they are already high disc design to clear the calipers

i can't think of any problem. the wheels are all the same widths and offset (say 18s) i think. it's just more of a design change

What I was trying to say (and obviously not doing a very good job of it) is that the 07 GS350 17" rims are identical to the 06 GS300 17" rims (the 10-spoke design). It was not until 08+ that the GS350 17" rims changed to a 7-spoke design.

E-man the 10 spoke design on o6 gs300 and 07 gs350 is exactly the same. I doubt they made changes to the same old boring design just to clear the caliper. Its not a proven fact, but just common sense. Want to be on a safer side go with 07+ gs wheels.

Great point. In other words, assuming the 10 spoke design wasn't tweaked for 07, the 10 spoke 17 inch rim should fit on a 2006 GS430 because they fit an 07 GS350. Makes perfect sense. But I agree, I would prefer the 7 spoke 08+ design.
