the concave on the 20x9's just aren't aggressive enough for my liking so I'm considering the 20x10.5's all around on a RWD. I've seen the silver 3GS on the vossen website with this done, but I'm just wondering if anyone has experience doing this on a RWD with any issues. anyone have input on front fender mods? i'll probably end up shaving anyhow
i have them, but with a staggered 20x9 up front. my car is dropped on swift springs about an 1" with no rubbing even with the car full of passengers. my 2cents on the subject is that I think because the CV3 20x10.5 have an offset of +45 you should be OK upfront.

any chance I can get a shot of your gap with the 1" drop? I'm coming from a 2IS slammed with a 1.5" clearance from the ground so I'm a little hesitant to lower this car as I'm loving stock suspension too much right now

I really don't mind rubbing the inner fenders as I'll heat gun the fuhh out of it if I have to. My main concern is doing any critical fender work like shaving/rolling.
Running the same spces all around on RWD shouldnt give the vehicle any problems. I know of other vehicles that are AWD that run staggered setups and vice versa that have never encountered any drivetrain issues. Im no mechanic though, just relying off experience.

not so much concerned about mechanical issues. I'm more concerned about having to delete/cut my fender walls/lining as I had to for my 2IS. I was driving up on my girlfriends driveway at an angle and I pulled out my front fender. I ended up having to roll it back in. I'd like to avoid this as much as possible as Lexus fenders are a PITA to roll without any hazing/swirls or bodywork

This is what will determine what if anything needs to be done
your drop
Tire sizes
off set of rims
the 10.5 isnt an issue. Is the above that will determine what if any work is required to drive.
mild drop. i'm not planning to slam anymore. if i do, it's gonna be air. tire size will probably be a conservative stretch. and the offsets will be the most aggressive Vossens will allow for
Can you confirm the offset for me? If your willing to have some stretch you can make this work. I want to say the member is in HI that did this on their GS.
The front is a lot easier to get away with no mods on this car.

I was under the impression that the cv3's came only in one offset per wheel width. I will check with mike@vossen.
