It's technically paint for polycarbonates. Used often on R/C cars. Here's the mother thread for all things Black Pearl. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/aut...e-emblems.html

That sucks man...

Most of the damage I've had to my cars have been from similar incidents like this. Then you have to pay a deductible to get it fixed. First time, a lady in a minivan ran over a big *** piece of wood on the highway and it launched in a perfect spiral like Aaron Rodgers threw a football and completely smashed my passenger sideview mirror to bits and pieces. Another time, someone's hubcap wasn't put back on properly and came off on the highway... looked like a buzzsaw approaching my Acura TL like a James Bond flick. It sliced a clean cut right through the bumper. My Lexus 3GS got tagged by some loose car body part that came off the car in front of me on the highway also. In Germany, a piece of cardboard was laying in the road and the car in front of me swerved out of the way at the last second and I had no idea what he was avoiding. By the time I saw it, it was too late and the cardboard smashed my passenger fog light the SAME day I put on some fresh brand new 19 inch wheels.

Through all these events, I was always responsible pay for fixing for the damage! Even with insurance, still got to pay deductible.

Sorry for the rant.... I guess I'm still not over those incidents. lol.

Ouch! You have really bad luck on the freeway! Seems like your car is a debris magnet..heh but I feel ya. I knicked my wheels first week I got them because I didn't turn wide enough. You learn that nothing will ever be perfect but you just wished it could've been like that longer!! haha
