hi I have the infamous hazy rear view mirror issue
anyways i ordered a replacement mirror off ebay and was just wondering if anyone has instructions on how to actually replace it

the mirror i received via ebay doesnt have the wiring harness so i need to take the old one off and switch the harness from the old mirror to the new mirror

my problem is just getting the mirror off, anyone have any knowledge on this?

this cover will come off and there is a hex bolt from what I recall that attaches it to the windshield bracket. Flash a light to confirm. Taking that cover off (just pops off) will give you access to the wires and everything you need.





Rather then cut the harness off just get some taps and tap the wires you need that way you dont cut any wires.

there is a TSB on that issue. have you tried talking to the dealer to see what they could do for you?
