Exclamation GS transmission problems?

Have you had any transmission problems with your GS? If so, how many miles were on your car? Any input would be greatly appreciated, especially if you have a GS with high miles & NEVER had tranny issues.

2006 GS300 AWD with 95,000 miles on the clock. The tranny is solid, just doesn't like real cold days. Needs to warm up a little on the cold morns.

So, if tranny is a weak spot on 3rd gen GS, does it make sense to install external transmission oil cooler or perform ones a year trasmission oil flushes?
I usually do it on most of my cars. What do you think?

i think my 06' gs300's tranny is going out. check vsc light came on and car won't shift pass 3rd. tried a transmission fluid flush and same problem came back within 30 miles. has anybody else had this problem? it only has 94,288 miles!

I had my transmission replaced on my gs350 at 68k miles somewhere around there, it just started pouring oil out after a 30 mile drive, lexus said it was just a defect and replaced it. I have heard few gs300 had issues not gs350. Gs350 only has 6 speed transmissions, lexus trannys are knwon to be bulletproof and reliable.

I met an elderly man once who was driving his 90 Ls 400 with 400+ k miles .
Original motor and tranny. Original owner too.
The only other car that could do that is a Lincoln town car. Dad had 2 in his fleet that got to 450k on original motor and tranny. Some legend says MB cars can do that too, but I think it's a spook story.

Yes lets not compare old ls to the new cars. Old cars were built to last.
