Touch Screen not responding

The Touch Screen of my 2007 GS350 stop responding. I performed a reset by disconnecting the battery and it worked for about one week. All console buttons are working including the display. But no response from the touch screen functions.
After checking my VIN it seems I need a new MULTI-DISPLAY OEM # 86111-30630-E0 Multi-Display Orchid Brown without Navigation, $$$$$$$$$$$

Any suggestions for a possible solution or replacement unit ?

Common problem on the 2IS but I never heard a lot of issue with the 3GS. It's a somewhat simple fix. The connecting from the Robbon cable to the screen broke and need to be rewritten with a circuit pen.
