JDM "looks" best. For function the AVS, despite the poor quality others have mentioned, are probably best. Has anyone contacted our vendor or AVS about the issues in heat?
Maybe try MacNeil Automotive out of IL. I have used them and the products have always been top notch. LINK

I don't think that there is any such thing as "good prices" on the JDM ones. They go for over 300 used in the classified section of these forums. I havent seen them any cheaper than about 480 lately brand new. Good luck in your search to find the best price on them. The pictures on page 1 of this thread just made my mind up. I will be getting the AVS ones. They look good still and I can't justify in my head paying 500 bucks for 4 pieces of plastic.

Sorry....I can't even see paying 400 bucks for 4 pieces of plastic. For anyone who is interested in the AVS visors. I just ordered a set from amazon.com for $117 dollars shipped. Here is the link to them if anyone wants a set.

sorry to bump an old thread, but do the AVS really melt/bend?
from the pics i see online, there is not much of a huge difference between the two; however the compare pics from the previous page is no longer avail. just wondering if its worth the ~$300 price difference

ive had no problems with mine and being in TN with the heat and humidity i can honestly say it hasn't warped.
just an FYI to those with AVS when you install them your not supposed stretch it or bend it when your trying to apply it to the top of the door. its supposed to laid on there smoothly without any force of trying to straighten them with the lining of the door.
ive seen numerous people try to install them this way and this is usually the cause of the warping due to the heat. also i suggest before you buy the visors make sure when you receive them they aren't warped already during shipment from the warehouse to the store to the store.
