Default advantages of afs lighting?

I really dont get what this is doing.do you most of you leave this on or turn it off

when you are at speed (5 or 15mph), when you turn right, the passenger side headlights will turn certain degrees. when you turn left, the driver side headlights will swing a few degrees. this is to help illuminate the direction you are going a little better for safety purpose. this is very subtle, a lot of people don't notice it (which is kind of what it's all about)

Yep, my wife never noticed it and still doesn't even when I try to demonstrate it to her! And, they move to the left more than they move to the right, FYI.

Mine is very noticeable, moves quite a bit even at 15mph+

I don't notice it but I drove my gf's 11 RX and I see it CLEARLY.

yah, theyre supposed to swivel at any speed over 6mph... and i can clearly see mine as well, but then again i still need to adjust mine as they are pointing too low straight at the street lol

all depends on how much you turn the wheel and how quick. if its a slight bend you probably wont notice it. if you want to really notice it, just move your wheel from side to side, you'll see the headlights moving.

start up sequence where they dip and raise to level is pretty slick and frequently gets noticed when I start the car up at night with the lights on.

Most cars in the GS category have afs.

I wasn't aware that it can be turned off (should one desire).

mine is pretty noticeable also.. my friend w/ an s2k thought it was the coolest thing. haha..
