isn't it true that if you have an ODD rim size (like 19,21,23s), your tires are more experience?? that's what somebody at one shop told me.

Did you mean expensive?

I don't think there is much of a difference between 19, 20, 21 and 22.

hmm that looks pretty nice actually..On a side note the auto couture kit looks alright from the side. Even though there isn't a side skirt the rear is noticeable for that little tiny piece....

I agree the 21's look sick!! The 21's are killing the game. The best of both worlds!! You can still drop the car and get the most size from the rims. I have 20's and even though I love them, they are a tad bit small for the car. The white one is sitting perfect. The diameter of the tires for a 275/30zr20 is almost exactley the same as the 295/25zr21's , but you get more rim. I love it.

19s are pretty common and priced pretty reasonable. 20s are now pretty normal too of course.

22" tires are quite a bit jump (on name brands) on price. and indeed 21s are on the rare side and more expensive.

on another note, even with 20s, tire prices could be quite different. for example if you look for a set of 245/35/20 and 275/30/20, they are likely cheaper than 245/30/20 and 265/30/20 (toyo t1r is an example).

it comes down to supply and demand. they have to make molds for the tires anyway, if a particular size is more common, price will be lower since the mold cost is divided by large quantity. but for some lower demand tires, price will be higher.

the same applies to different diameter tires as well. 19s and 20s are very common nowadays. 22s are the next thing (if we go larger). 21s are in the minority side by comparison
