Your Welcome & Congrats!
Family is great and wife is doing much better, thanks for asking We are days away from identical twin boys. Have the house ready and the wife is more then ready.
My three year old was in the garage helping me with my project car today. He's hooked already and keeps eying my shifter kart in the garage. Soon I will post a few pics in the Chicago section to show what I have been working on. Its something very different for me...

Here is mine painted, it was all unassembled, scuffed, sprayed with adhesion promoter, primed, and sprayed. I think it looks great the only thing is if a rock chip hits it there is still chrome underneathe it. Oh well I think it is the ****!!!
Do you mind me asking how much the painting of the trims on the exterior cost you? From what I can see it's headlight, grilles, and door trim?
Your front grille looks different for some reason but maybe it's just the paint Jon?

Im not sure cause I had the front bumper, lip kit, front fenders shaved, rolled, smoothed out, and resprayed, chrome grille bezel, headlight bezel, rear emblems, paintless dent removal, and license plate frames painted at the same time for $1400 and the bumper painting was a freebie. Id say $200 for the front chrome since it was already pulled apart for the bumper. $100 for the rear emblems, $500 for the tailights and window trim to be wrapped in vinyl. just had the whole front of the car 3m clear bra'd today for another $1200

Just Did My Chrome Grille Surround
I got the paint in an aerosol can from AutomotiveTouchup.com, prepped the chrome with 400 grit sandpaper, then used a 2k epoxy aerosol primer (this stuff's expensive, $20 a can). It came out beautiful. A perfect match. Very durable. Don't see why that wouldn't work with any of the chrome trim. You'd just have to do a good job masking and do it in a clean environment.
I'm just not that motivated.
