Default Replacement tires

Hi Lexus GS owners,

I am new to this forum.

Just purchased a mint condition green 2008 GS 350 RWD with 10K miles.

It has 18 inch wheels.

It has OE Yokohama Advan A10 tires (summer tire) which are very noisy and a poor ride and I plan to replace them.

Looking at : (1) Bridgestone Serenity (had them on my Infiniti) or (2) Michelin Pilot HX MXM4

Any comments and recommendations would be appreciated.

Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS is a very nice tire... I have had them on mine for a few thousand miles and they are very quiet.

I also replaced my Advans because I couldn't stand them. I chose Michelin Pilots and have been very happy with them. Far quieter and stickier than the Advans.

When I look into tires for my car, I look at Tirerack tests and rating. I didn't want to change tires when the season change, so only want All Season tires. Since where i live have snow too I have to take snow into account.

In short, the DWS rated the highest and have a decent price for what I need.

Continental extreme contact dws FTW. I dont race with my car, just might push it a little here and there and this tire is great. Dont even hear the tires on the road anymore, now i hear the wind more than anything. If u want a smooth, quiet, comfortable ride these will do ya good, oh yea and rated for 50k miles. The past two sets of tires i had were over 320 bucks A TIRE. Michelin Pilot sport tires. Good grip but dont last.
